Sony cybershot DSC TX-9 Review

By

Small but Smart

When Sony issued a camera with sophisticated 3D Sweep Panorama, Cyber-Shot DSC-TX9 had become the best in the T-series models that replaced DSC-TX7 position.

This little camera has interest features. Besides its 3D sweep panoramic mode, TX9 generates 12-megapixel resolution from Exmor R CMOS image sensor; system superior auto exposure modes; background de-focus; autofocus mode; flash natural; selection of background color; 1920x1080 AVCHD video (60i)recording and a very efficiently 3.5” touch screen LCD.

A superiority of TX9 is 3D sweep panorama function. By moving the camera around a scene, you can take multiple images and then will be processed by camera so that becomes a 3D image. There are also multi-angle sweep mode, which the camera takes 15 photos at different angles as you move it. You can also tilt the camera to playback mode and see the results on 3D projection at the screen.

Despite not being the first in a 3D camera technology, various features combination that had been held by Sony Cybershot made 3D images in this camera was very different than the closest competitor, Fujifilm FinePix Real 3D W1.

Like 3D sweep panoramic feature which is a combination of sweep panoramic features that can continuously unify images as wide as 224 degrees in the form of 3D, of course you already able to imagine that results obtained will be fantastic when you play them on Sony’s 3D TV. Evenmore, now Sony has developed this feature to be more creative by presenting multi-angle sweep that can take up to 15 frames. By enabling its 3D style, the photos can be viewed in various angles.

Tx-9 can record 1080i HD video that gives you crisp and smooth. No need to fear about running out of memory because Sony uses AVCHD video compression system that will create video files remain small.

Sony also has active optical steady shot during recording video, which is useful when you record an event in a high speed that makes your hand to move, optical SteadyShot will stabilize the image automatically.
