Suddenly, people heard the news that Paul McCartney died! It began when a radio caller,Tom, called to a radio station and announced if Paul McCartney died. He also asked to play a song "Revolution No. 9" played reversely. Then the radio station claimed to hear a phrase "turn me on, dead man".

No longer after that, there were rumors if there were clues in the death of Paul in Abbey Road cover. According to rumor, clothes they used were clues.

  • Clothes used by Lennon, all-white, indicated as God.
  • Ringo Star wore neat black suit and shiny shoes who interpreted as a pastor.
  • Paul McCartney wore a suit but no shoes. Besides that, his jacket was not tidy. In the culture of Englishmen, died person was buried with a neat suit but no shoes.
  • George, most casual clothes with only jeans and clothes that are not official, defined as a grave digger.

Besides that, there was a car behind the middle of road; it straighten to the position of Paul! Well, that was often referred as a way of his death!

This rumor spreads throughout the entire world so that many people wondered, whether true or not.

Well, that rumor was still being a mystery. Why? Because official explanation was only the making of album cover which was suddenly done in the front of Apple recording, a record company owned by the Beatles.

11:35a.m. in 1970s, Beatles crossed a zebra cross in North London. For shooting their new album, titled Abbey Road, was located just a few yards from the eponymous recording studio, only taken in 10 minutes and 6 frames by a photographer, Macmillan.
